If I were to get an RMA I might go for a Corsair AXi model PSU, they let you monitor the PSU performance via a USB port on the PSU so I could monitor its behaviour even when my computer has crashed if I connect the USB port to my dads computer for example. My PSU is a Corsair AX760 ($250~ AUD!), my dads is a Thermaltake Lite 900 watt ($90~ AUD).

His PSU should be enough to handle my PC so it'd be neat to see if it stabilizes my system (which'd be another indicator that my PSU is faulty). I'd have to swap the PSU in to my dads computer and see if the system instability travels with the PSU though which is kinda a tedious task. I RMA'd it directly with the company which cost $100 AUD postage >.>", next time I'll let the place of purchase deal with it and maybe even ask for a refund (their tech support offered to refund it if it's proven faulty even though it's about 5 years old now ). I'm slightly leaning towards the PSU being faulty since I've had it fail before and had to RMA it.
